Scheduling Dashboard report emails

Hi,

I got a dashboard for which I want to schedule reports by email. However when I did a test email to myself, The report I has some of the rows missing. How can I fix this ?

Hi @liya101

Could you please check if any filters are applied to the dashboard or if Row-Level Security (RLS) is enabled on the dataset? Sometimes these can restrict the data visible in the export.

Kindly try manually removing all filters from the dashboard and re-test the export to see if all expected rows appear.

Please refer to the below documentation this might be helpful for you.

Hi,

I only want the last 24 hours data from the dashboard. Even If I am removing that filter, it doesnt give me the whole data in the pdf report. It only gives first 30 or 35 rows .

Hi @liya101

This may be a dumb question. Is this a Pixel-Perfect report or a normal interactive dashboard?

If it is interactive then only what is visible in the visual may be exported.

Regards,
Giri

Hi @Giridhar.Prabhu
This is a normal interactive dashbaord. If I am in the dashboard , the table has 57 rows however when I schedule the report as pdf, it only shows 34 rows .

Hi @liya101,
As Giri mentioned, since this is a normal interactive dashboard; email pdf’s are more of a ‘snapshot’ of your current/selected view. As they are not interactive, it will not capture information that’s not being shown on the screen. You could try adjusting the height of your visual to incorporate more rows, but if you’ve reached your max visual size, this will not be attainable with a normal pdf email report. You would need pixel-perfect reports to create a more interactive option.
