Sending automatic reports does not work

I generated the scheduling of an automatic email, left the schedule active correctly and it was not sent. I have reviewed it and in theory everything is correct, it should be noted that the email domain is corporate, how could I resolve it?

Hi @winlike

Welcome to QuickSight community!

Can you please check the below points. To receive email reports, the users or group members must meet the following conditions:

  • They are part of your Amazon QuickSight subscription.
  • You already shared the dashboard with them.
  • They have completed sign-up process to activate their subscription as Amazon QuickSight readers, authors, or admins.
  • Amazon QuickSight can’t send scheduled emails to more than 5,000 members.

Please refer to the below documentation this might be helpful for you.

It’s recommended to first test the report delivery with a single user end-to-end to ensure it’s working correctly before adding multiple users to the group.

If the issue is resolved. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!

Hi @winlike

Have you shared the dashboard ? Before scheduling you have to share the dashboard to the required group/QuickSight user.

Giri
