I have been trying to find solutions to show total in the tool tip of a stacked bar chart, and ended up adding an extra field in the tooltip. However, I am noticing the total does not have a unit as the other number do. Is there any way for me to change the unit of the value?

If you’re not using this field in your actual visual (only the tooltip), you should be able to achieve this by editing the format in the actual field well. Click the ellipses next to the field that you created. You can try out the different options under ‘Format’ (See below for example).
