The error Failed to get chat agent details. Make sure that an owner has granted you access to this chat agent in Quick Suite typically occurs due to insufficient IAM permissions, even if the owner believes access has been shared.
Verify your IAM role or user has the necessary Quick Suite permissions like ex: quicksight:GetChatAgent or broader access to chat agents, contact your AWS or Quick Suite admin to check and update policies if needed.
Ask the owner to confirm sharing via the Quick Suite console, navigate to Chat agents → Actions → Share, and explicitly grant you Viewer or Owner permissions (Viewer allows view/use).
