Hi Community,

I would like a detailed breakdown of the pricing information for my Amazon Quick Sight account. Specifically, I want to understand if Quick Sight charges for the following activities and, if so, how much:

  • Price per user
  • Price for SPICE storage and the cost of increasing its capacity
  • Price per session
  • Price per data refresh
  • Price per dashboard created

Hello Miguel,

You would need to first check what kind of pricing is enabled for your Quick Sight account. you may need to check with your quickSight Admin if you are not the Admin.
if you are admin then - log into QS as admin > manage Quick Sight > Manage pricing – you would see there what kind of pricing is enabled for your account.

There are two types of pricing in Quick Sight

  1. User based
  2. Capacity based.
  • Price per data refresh - no charges from QS perspective but DB at the backend may charge for the request
  • Price per dashboard created - No additional charge for Creating dashboard.
