Hi,

I invited a few users to QuickSight, but they mentioned they haven’t received the invitation emails.
How should I handle this issue?

How are you inviting user from console or API ?
Please follow as instructed, make sure you have proper and valid email id. (Inviting users to access Amazon QuickSight - Amazon QuickSight)

I did this exact flow but the customer claim he didnt receive any email.

This is strange. could you try yourself with alternate id and and see if the behaviour is same in your case as well.

If yes, may be try to reach out to aws support to dive deep and possibly fix the issue.

How can I help the customer with this issue?

It sounds the process is working as expected.
Please ask user to check their junk or spam folder.

Also try with different user name but appropriate email id as shown below and see if it helps.

Hi @Koral - This is strange. Possibly the link has expired. can you test a sample user and check e2e. If the problem persists, better to raise a ticket to AWS team.

Hi @Koral

I have had that issue with some of the users. As @Sanjeeb2022 said the invitation may have expired and they did not complete the sign in process before that.

In these cases resending the invitation for some reasons didn’t work for us and I had to remove the user and invite again and it worked.
