Hi,
During data set refresh few rows were skipped due to error.
in the downloaded log file, the error type is: INDEX_OUT_OF_BOUNDS.
What does this error mean (AWS has a poor documentation about it)?
Where is this Index configured?
Thanks,
Anna

@Annab - Thanks for sharing your query. You can find the details of the error codes and their meanings here : Amazon QuickSight.
However, Quick Sight should allow you to download the skipped rows in order to closely investigate the pattern among the rows and identify why it may have failed. Did you try to download the skipped rows files in excel and analyze it?
Hi @sagmukhe
Thank you for your response.
As mentioned, the AWS documentation is not giving any explanation to the meaning of the error:
" INDEX_OUT_OF_BOUNDS – The system requested an index that isn’t valid for the array or list being processed."
I have hundreds of records skipped, in a large dataset (98 columns) - I don’t know where to start looking for the issue, as I do not understand the error and the expected behavior that didn’t occur.
Can you explain the meaning of this error?
What is considered as index of the array and where is it defined?
Thanks,
Anna
Hi @Annab - For records which are reject, you can take couple of them and analyze why it is rejected, a possibly cause may be date field or number field which may be the reason.
I understand for data sets having 98 columns it is very difficult to analyze and find out the root cause. We can request QS team to add some more details and provide the exact column which caused the issue. I believe this feature is not available not.
We can request to add this feature request.
Hi @Max @Jesse - Any advise on this.

Thank you for your help @Sanjeeb2022, more details will be much appreciated.
Meanwhile, do you have any idea what it means - what kind of data errors to look for?
Hi @Annab - Check whether any date field has invalid format or value and also for decimal or integer value whether there is any issue or not.

Hello @Annab !
I have marked this as a feature request per @Sanjeeb2022 comment.
