Hello QuickSight Community,
I have scheduled my QuickSight dashboard to be sent via email every day, and I have only selected PDF in the report settings. The PDF is being sent correctly, but I am also receiving PNG attachments of each graph in the email, which I do not want.
I have double-checked my email report settings, and there is no option enabled that explicitly includes PNG images. I expected the email to contain only the PDF, but it consistently includes separate PNG images of the dashboard visuals as attachments.
Steps I’ve Tried:
- Verified that only PDF is selected in the scheduling options.
- Reviewed the dashboard settings to check if there is any option that forces PNG attachments.
- Checked if there is a way to disable inline images, but no such setting is available.
- Searched the QuickSight forums but didn’t find a clear solution.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
- Is this an expected behavior in QuickSight?
- Is there a way to disable PNG images from being attached?
- Could this be a recent bug or unintended QuickSight behavior?
