I created a Quick agent and shared it with multiple users. Out of all the users, one user cannot access it even after adding their login with the shared users lists and providing them the link. What can I do to give them access? Thanks a lot!
Hi @marmarai,
Welcome to the Quick Community! Just to make sure this is the case, I would recommend to make sure they are in the same IAM role as the other users and also make sure they have the same permissions set, as that could be why they are not receiving it. If that still does not work, please let me know more specifics as to what messages the user is encountering and I can look further to see if there is a quick solution.
Hi Luis, thanks a lot for the warm welcome and for your kind support! The agent was shared at Amazon level so there is a mix of roles and permission sets (as the attached screenshot), but the user that cannot access the agent is - indeed - a different level (L7) from a different LOB (finance). Please let me know if I can provide any specific details about this situation. Thanks again!
Hi @marmarai,
Thanks for the further clarification. In this case, I would definitely recommend reaching out to a respective IT admin (whether through yours or the user’s if different), as they may be able to better figure out if permissions need to be changed.
Thanks a lot, Luis! Just a final question: how can I identify my IT admin?
Hi @marmarai,
My apologies for the delayed response! Were you able to find a respective IT admin in the mean time or are you still unsure? Unfortunately I do not know how you specifically would get the info due to this being an account-based matter.
If you do not have a respective IT admin, I would definitely recommend creating an AWS Support ticket, as they should be able to further assist you in this matter
Thank you!
Hi @marmarai,
Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime.
If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
Thank you
